TOWARD the WITHIN: Spring Equinox Edition
Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 from 1 to 4pm

DRYP Yoga
This workshop/ceremony/ritual practice includes meditation, breathwork, light yoga and sound bath.
The Spring Equinox is a time for renewal, balance and new beginnings. It’s also an excellent time to explore our spiritual nature and instinctual yearning for ritual and ceremony. In this workshop, we will examine ancient mysteries, the subtle body, the energetic body and altered states of consciousness. We’ll use guided meditation, breathwork, light yoga and a sound bath to facilitate a deeper exploration of the self, the universe and our long and nearly forgotten history as spiritual beings having a human experience. This experience includes a complimentary (and optional) entheogen.
We invite you to turn off your mind, relax and float downstream. Even so, please remember, enlightenment is optional.

Shawnte
Originally from Kentucky but raised in Idaho, Shawnte brings the diversity of his background in theater, movement and voice to his yoga practice. This means focusing on long, slow and deep movement practices with flare, extension and ease for every body, every day without risk of injury or overextension.
In 2015, Shawnte traveled to Bali to complete his first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Meghan Currie and Nico Luce. From there, he taught privately to supplement his artistic endeavors. Then in 2023, he took a second 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with world-renowned Rasa Yogi Greta Hill and has since leaned into teaching yoga full-time.
Shawnte’s 20+ years of practice has taken him down many yogic paths including Ashtanga, Bhakti, Bikram, Forrest, Hatha, Iyengar, Power, Rasa, Restorative, Vinyasa and Yin. What has emerged is his own style of yoga that includes long, slow and deep stretches with new and inventive sequencing. Some have described it as similar to Qigong and Tai Chi, while those with acting backgrounds may find elements of the Suzuki Method as well as Alexander and Linklater techniques.

Chloe Lee-Tjenos
Using the power of breath, sound, movement, and stillness, Chloe creates space for her students to experience the many shapes of their bodies, the sensations of prana, and the intimacy of connection to self and others. She helps her students explore balance and strength, both mentally and physically, using the practices and mythologies of yoga to rewire the brain and body for resilience. Her classes offer students an ever-growing toolbox of skills that increase cognitive performance, calm the nervous systems, and develop pathways to the meditative mind. Her therapeutic work is rooted in reverence for the Earth and the sacred connection between human beings and all else. She integrates philosophical animism with studentship of modern neuroscience research to create spaces where people can experience their true nature - connected and constantly changing.
Chloe is an ally in growth and expansion, offering her personal pursuit of the meditative mind and the enlivened body as an expression of love.
All flourishing is mutual, may our practice bring joy, passion, and freedom for ourselves and for everyone around us.
